Service Costs

JT Computers provides a wide variety of services to cater for most people's computer servicing or upgrading requirements. The details of these services are provided on the Services page. The following table shows the pricing structure details for general repair and maintenance as well as a number of discounted services for specific, common services.

Pricing Structure:

Service	Inclusions/Cost
General On-Site Consultation/Service	$60 Callout Fee - Includes first hour $40 per hour (or part thereof) after the first hour. (This service is for any general repair/service/troubleshooting) NOTE: For your information, an on-site reformat (clean install) of your PC generally takes from 1.5 to 2 hours.
System Upgrades	$40 On-site System Examination Fee (required if necessary details cannot be obtained by phone) $80 Upgrade Labour Fee (not including Hardware costs) *
Internet Installation	$75 On-site Installation/Connection Fee *
Home Networking	$40 On-site Network Examination Fee (required if necessary details cannot be obtained by phone) $100 Networking Labour Fee (not including hardware costs) *
Offsite System Overhaul	$150 Complete System Overhaul (performed Offsite). Includes backup of customer data, reformat/reinstall Operating System, Updates and Case Clean. (Does not include necessary hardware costs). Pickup/Delivery of system included, with a 1 hour installation period upon return also included. NOTE: If a new Operating System is required, further licensing costs are necessary. A reciept of acknowledgement is issued to the customer when the system is taken offsite.
Purchasing Consultation	$80 Consultation (Onsite for 30 minuts if required) and Installation Fee. JT Computers will discuss your needs with you and return to you one or a number of 3rd party quotes. The selected system will be installed for you once you purchase it. *

TERMS: * For any Flat-Fee On-Site service, only the specific service being charged for will be performed at your premises. If you require extra service in addition to the flat-fee service you requested, you will be charged the General Consultation hourly fee ($45 per hour or part thereof). You will not be charged the $60 Callout/1st hour Fee if the technician is already On-Site. Flat Fee services will not normally include more than 2 hours On-Site unless in circumstances where the technician requires more than this to complete the requested service properly.
